About Me

Hi, I'm Megan Kekich.

I believe healing begins when we feel seen, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. My passion is helping people understand the hidden beliefs and patterns that keep them stuck so they can heal from painful experiences and move through life with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or patterns they can't seem to break. While these struggles are very real, I believe they often reflect deeper emotional wounds, limiting beliefs, and nervous system responses that continue to influence how we see ourselves, relate to others, and navigate life's challenges.

Many of us carry beliefs formed through difficult experiences—such as “I'm not good enough,” “I'm too much,” or “I have to do everything on my own.” Although these beliefs may have once helped us adapt or survive, they often continue to shape our lives long after they are no longer serving us.

Together, we'll explore the experiences that shaped these beliefs while building the skills and insight needed to create lasting growth. Using trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches, we'll work to heal at the root—not just manage symptoms. Because these ways of thinking and responding are learned, they can also be changed, allowing you to move forward with greater freedom, resilience, and alignment with your values.

Healing does not have to happen all at once. We will move at a pace that feels manageable while building practical tools and emotion regulation skills that you can carry with you beyond the therapy room.

My Background

For nearly 10 years, I have worked in the mental health and substance use field, supporting adults through healing trauma, substance use disorders, relationship challenges, life transitions, codependency, and personal growth.

I have also worked extensively with couples and families affected by substance use disorders and mental health challenges, helping loved ones develop healthier boundaries, better understand family dynamics, and prioritize their own healing alongside their loved one's recovery.

These experiences have reinforced my belief that meaningful healing happens in a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where people feel safe enough to explore the patterns that have shaped them, reconnect with their strengths, and create lasting change.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Louisiana State University and my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

Beyond the Therapy Room

Outside of the therapy room, I'm a wife and mother who understands how quickly life's priorities can shift. Those experiences have deepened my appreciation for living in alignment with our values, even when doing so isn't easy.

Long before becoming a therapist, I began doing my own inner work and intentionally reshaping patterns that no longer served me. That journey continues today and has strengthened my belief that meaningful change is possible. The principles I teach my clients aren't simply professional tools—they are practices I integrate into my own life. I believe growth is a lifelong process, and my commitment to that process allows me to show up with authenticity, compassion, and presence for the people I serve.

Working Together

I currently offer self-pay individual and couples/family counseling for adults through in-office sessions, secure telehealth sessions, and private, personalized in-home sessions.
